Faculty & Staff Streaming Video Guide

Requesting Video in Kanopy

Kanopy is a pay-per-video streaming service for Davidson-Davie faculty and staff. It offers a rotating catalog of documentaries, films, and educational videos that are available to license for a fee. Videos the library currently licenses are located on Kanopy's homepage. Licensed videos in this database may be used by faculty, staff, and students for the purpose of research, teaching, and individual study. Faculty and staff may use licensed videos in any Davidson-Davie course.

To find a full list of available titles in Kanopy, click the Search button then search for your desired title or subject. Once you locate a desired title, mouse over the title then click the See More button. Next, click the Play button.

Some videos in Kanopy include public performance rights (PPR) and may be screened for non-course, college-related activities. Use the PPR limiter to filter titles that come with public performance rights.

If you would like to publicly screen any video in Kanopy that does not come with public performance rights, submit your request through the library's Suggest a Purchase form.
